Does my child have to have tutoring during school holidays?
Olive & Ivy Education offers year-round tutoring services. Our tutoring sessions are scheduled to align with your term time sessions, ensuring consistency and convenience. In the event that these session times are not suitable, we can accommodate your needs by adjusting the tutoring schedule during school holidays to better suit your plans. We encourage you to discuss your preferences with your tutor. Additionally, we provide reduced learning plans to cater to individual requirements. Do you set Homework?
If you desire to receive homework assignments, kindly communicate your preference to your tutor. Alternatively, should you wish to abstain from receiving homework, please inform your tutor accordingly.
How do I access my lessons?
The links to access the lessons will be dispatched to you via email or WhatsApp prior to the scheduled lesson. Rest assured, your lesson will consistently take place at the same time and on the same day each week, unless unforeseen circumstances necessitate a change.
How is my child's progress assessed?
If you agree to proceed, we will arrange a consultation regarding your child's educational progress and any specific topics or areas you would like to be addressed. Assessments are tailored to your child's current grade level and learning standards. This assessment will identify any areas that require further development or additional instruction. Assessments are repeated termly.
Will I be kept up to date with my child's learning?
After each tutoring session, supplementary assignments will be made available to parents in order to keep them well-informed of their child's progress. These assignments will be delivered in a professional manner, providing detailed insights and observations to enhance parents' understanding of their child's academic development. Furthermore, parents will have the opportunity to receive optional homework assignments for their child, enabling additional practice and reinforcement of the concepts covered during the tutoring session.
